How to Install Balterio Laminate Flooring |

Easily install the laminate flooring planks from Balterio though a rolling motion thanks to the special Click xpress® System formed of tongue and groove that form a strong joint without the use of glue. This makes it possible for you to step on the newly installed flooring and even to replace flooring planks. |

Necessary tools |
|
Installing laminate floor coverings from any of the Balterio collections require the use of the following tools:
- fretsaw and a small handsaw
- measuring tape
- waterproof adhesive tape
- sanding machine or sanding block
- laminate flooring installation kit: buffer block, expansion blocks, tension iron

Acclimatization |
|
|
In order to acclimatise the laminate floor planks, leave them unpacked for a period of 48 hours in the center of the room where you plan to install them making sure that the temperature is of approximately 20°C and that the moisture level does not exceed 55%. |

Preparation |
|
Inspect the planks before installation, remove those that are damaged and mix several boxes before installation in order to ensure a unitary look for your floors.
Any type of hard surface can constitute the base floor for the laminate flooring. Make sure to remove softer surfaces like carpets and that the installation surface is clean and smooth. |

Concrete base floor |
|

In the case of new constructions the concrete floor must be left to dry for a week if the thickness does not exceed 4 cm and longer for floors exceeding 4 cm in thickness. |
