Inspection and installation preparations Inspect each panel for defects and damages prior and during the installation job. Prior to installation, leave the laminate flooring for acclimatisation in the room where it will be installed in sealed, unopened boxes laid flat, at a room temperature of at least 18°C (64°F), for a period of at least 48 hours. Interior humidity should range between 40% to 70%. Sub Floor The sub floor has to be a closed and self supporting surface. Any irregularities exceeding 3 mm over a 100 cm interval must be smoothed out and the surface must be clean and vacuumed. Remove any textile surfaces i.e. carpets prior to setup. Installation on concrete with heating systems Prior to installation, turn on the heating system until a surface temperature of 18°C is reached and maintain this level throughout the entire installation and 3 days afterwards. After the end of 3 days, the water temperature can be increased slowly if necessary.
