We, representing the flooringlaminate.co.uk online platform are entering a mutual agreement with you when purchasing products from us, that will be concluded in the moment when the designated order is placed. All potential customers are required to read our terms and conditions before making an online order or a purchase over the phone.

Delivery:

Orders that need to be delivered to certain destinations such as Scotland, Channel Islands or Northern Ireland are subjected to an extra delivery fee by the carrier. All customers in this situation will be informed about the extra charge as soon as possible after the order has been placed. The order will be canceled if the customer refuses to pay this extra fee.

A redelivery charge will be entailed to the customer for pre-arranged deliveries, in case he is not available to receive the goods on the arranged day.

By law the carriers are only insured to deliver kerbside and will not transport the flooring inside the property.

Return Policy & Cancellations

Customers benefit of a 7 days term to return the goods, no question asked. Prior to returning the goods, you must request a return number from us. This number will be written on the box and is based on this number that we will be able to proceed with the return. The goods will be sent back to us at the expense of the customer. The goods must arrive to us undamaged and in a condition that allows us to resell it. Because of this, we only allow for a single pack to be gently unwrapped from one side without damaging the plastic sealing for the customer to check the design of the flooring boards and to decide if keeping the order. Please note that partial returns of orders are not allowed.

Damaged Goods:

In case the goods arrive damaged they must be signed in as damaged on the courier receipt. It is important to check the delivery pack by pack, as all packs must be free of damages and scratches. Missing packs on the order must also be noted on the courier receipt. Unlike other products, our flooring can be verified at the time of delivery as it comes in packs on a pallet where the customer is allowed to unwrap the packaging of the pallet and check it pack by pack. This procedure must be followed by our customers at all times, regardless of the driver's advice or any other circumstances.
Orders that have been signed for as incomplete (one or more packs are missing) or damaged must be reported to us (usually within 24 hours, no later than 3 calendar days) via our contact us webpage or by calling our main line and selecting option 1. The substituting packs will be delivered to you as soon as possible.

Claims related to manufacturing faults:

All manufacturing faults are subjected to an independent inspection at the site where the flooring is installed. Planks with identified faults must not be included in the flooring installation and these must be safely stored until the time of the inspection. False claims of manufacturing faults are subjected to a fee equaling the charge of the independent inspection company.

Also, we reserve the right to ask for digital pictures of planks showing manufacturing faults or delivery damages.

Other information:

We advise our customers not to book any installation service prior to having the goods in their possession as we cannot always guarantee deliveries because of stock levels and courier's availability or other circumstances.

Customers are recommended to use a professional when installing the flooring. Also the customer must be able to asses the subfloor area and levels of humidity in order to avoid affecting the warranty of the goods.

Customized products, including vinyl flooring and carpets, that are cut from a roll to serve some specific room dimensions are not returnable within 7 days under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

We only sell accessories and fittings together with the flooring. These have to be proportional with the quantity of flooring solicited by order.

All large pictures (room sets) on the products web pages are used for illustration purposes only and customers must solely consider the scans of the samples before purchasing. Customers are recommended to request a sample in the post or to visit a showroom to see the flooring. As computer monitor colours can dramatically vary, the online scan of the sample can differ in appearance when compared with the actual flooring.

We recommend our customers to obtain all possible information on a product before making a purchase. All inquiries regarding our website, terms and conditions, products, prices and pictures, can be sent and will be dealt with via our contact us webpage.
